How we got here
WULLAPP Founded
Ephraim Nyako founds WULLAPP in Lagos as a software development consultancy during the COVID-19 pandemic — delivering scalable web applications and automation tools across multiple industries, managing end-to-end product development from client discovery through to deployment.
MSc Cybersecurity & Enterprise Security
Relocated to the UK to pursue an MSc in Cybersecurity and Human Factors at Bournemouth University, while simultaneously entering enterprise security — leading real-time SIEM monitoring with Microsoft Sentinel, vulnerability management with Qualys, and supporting ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance programmes. WULLAPP continued to operate remotely throughout.
Security Operations Leadership
Completed the MSc — with research focused on the human element of security, social engineering, and designing behavioural interventions. Continued enterprise security operations: managing P1–P4 alert triage, conducting gap analyses, producing audit-ready documentation, and leading cloud security posture reviews and incident response coordination across UK organisations.
L8Signal Cybersecurity Launched
Returned to Lagos to found L8Signal Cybersecurity — a managed security services provider built on five operational pillars (Protect, Detect, Respond, Comply, Operate) encompassing 12 specialist services. From 24/7 SIEM monitoring with Microsoft Sentinel to AI security governance, GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and NDPR compliance — enterprise-grade protection, now available to organisations across Nigeria and the UK.
